The Howard M. Balogh Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must be a college-bound graduating senior with participation in community service and/or student government. While the applicant should rank in the top half of the class academically, the emphasis is on leadership and commitment to the welfare of people.

The Lynne Diwinsky Memorial Avodah Scholarship
Applicant must be a college-bound graduating senior who can display a commitment to Judaism and Jewish Life. Must be able to display a commitment to both NCJC and the Jewish Community at large.

The Ruth and Edward Grupper Memorial Scholarship
Originally named after Edward Grupper with the edition of his wife following her passing. This scholarship is intended for those High School Seniors who plan on entering any of the helping professions. Mr. Grupper a longtime member of NCJC was a devoted social worker whose work was deeply valued. His family wanted his work to continue so they set up this scholarship.
To apply, please submit a resume of your activities outside of school that show an affinity toward working in a helping profession and an essay about why you chose this field of endeavor. If you have a letter of support from a mentor/teacher that speaks to what you have done, please enclose that as well. The deadline for this is April 30th. Submit your application here.
