Book of Remebrance
The New City Jewish Center has always prepared a “Book of Remembrance” which is distributed on Yom Kippur when we say Yizkor. Congregants may include the names of departed loved ones to remember their passing in a meaningful way. The Book contains a compilation of prayers and meditations to recite and give comfort throughout the year, particularly on the occasion of the four Yizkor services held each year. We have again expanded the ways congregants may memorialize departed family members and friends so dear to us, by making available three alternative sizes for inclusion in our Book of Remembrance. To participate and have your loved one "remembered", please download the form here.
